वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-54, verse-11

तद्गतं हृदयं ह्यस्यास्तदधीनं च जीवितम् ।
अयोध्यापि भवेत्तस्या राम हीना तथा वनम् ॥११॥
11. tadgataṃ hṛdayaṃ hyasyāstadadhīnaṃ ca jīvitam ,
ayodhyāpi bhavettasyā rāma hīnā tathā vanam.
11. tat-gatam hṛdayam hi asyāḥ tat-adhīnam ca jīvitam
ayodhyā api bhavet tasyāḥ rāma hīnā tathā vanam
11. hi asyāḥ hṛdayam tat-gatam,
ca jīvitam tat-adhīnam.
rāma hīnā ayodhyā api tasyāḥ tathā vanam bhavet.
11. Indeed, her heart is entirely devoted to him (Rāma), and her life is dependent on him. For her, even Ayodhyā, without Rāma, would become like a forest.
