From the fire sacrifices (agnihotreṣu) of the sages (ṛṣīṇām), offered according to sacred rites (vidhipūrvakam), smoke (dhūmaḥ) that is ruddy like a pigeon's body (kapotāṅgāruṇaḥ) and driven by the wind (pavanoddhataḥ) is seen (dṛśyate).
