वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-60, verse-13

गवां शतसहस्रेण विक्रिणीषे सुतं यदि ।
पशोरर्थे महाभाग कृतकृत्यो ऽस्मि भार्गव ॥१३॥
13. gavāṃ śatasahasreṇa vikriṇīṣe sutaṃ yadi ,
paśorarthe mahābhāga kṛtakṛtyo'smi bhārgava.

13. mahābhāga bhārgava yadi gavāṃ śatasahasreṇa paśoḥ arthe sutam vikriṇīṣe,

13. O illustrious Bhārgava, if you sell your son for a hundred thousand cows for the purpose of a sacrificial animal (yajña), I shall consider my task accomplished.
