वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-25, verse-4

सो ऽहं पितुर्वचः श्रुत्वा शासनाद्ब्रह्म वादिनः ।
करिष्यामि न संदेहस्ताटकावधमुत्तमम् ॥४॥
4. so'haṃ piturvacaḥ śrutvā śāsanādbrahma vādinaḥ ,
kariṣyāmi na saṃdehastāṭakāvadhamuttamam.
4. saḥ aham pituḥ vacaḥ śrutvā śāsanāt brahmavādinaḥ
kariṣyāmi na sandehaḥ tāṭakāvadham uttamam
4. saḥ aham pituḥ vacaḥ श्रुत्वा [तथा] brahmavādinaḥ
śāsanāt uttamam tāṭakāvadham kariṣyāmi [अत्र] na sandehaḥ
4. Having heard my father's word, which stems from the command of the knower of the sacred texts (brahmavādin - referring to the sage), I will undoubtedly carry out the supreme slaying of Tataka. There is no doubt about this.
