स्वलंकृतप्रदेशे तु ब्रीहिराशिं प्रकल्पयेत् ।
पञ्चद्रोणमितं धान्यैस्तदर्धं तण्डुलैस्तथा ॥४॥

4. svalaṃkṛtapradeśe tu brīhirāśiṃ prakalpayet .
pañcadroṇamitaṃ dhānyaistadardhaṃ taṇḍulaistathā.

pañcadroṇamitam dhānyaiḥ tat ardham taṇḍulaiḥ tathā

4. tu svalamkṛtapradeśe pañcadroṇamitam dhānyaiḥ brīhirāśim
prakalpayet tathā tat ardham taṇḍulaiḥ (prakalpayet)

4. In a well-decorated place, one should arrange a heap of unhusked rice (brīhi), measuring five droṇas. Similarly, half of that quantity should be (a heap) of dehusked rice (taṇḍula).
