बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-90, verse-2

संक्रान्तौ च नरो जातो भवेद् दारिद्र्य दुःखभाक् ।
शान्त्या सुखमवाप्नोति ततः शान्तिविधि ब्रुवे ॥२॥
2. saṃkrāntau ca naro jāto bhaved dāridrya duḥkhabhāk .
śāntyā sukhamavāpnoti tataḥ śāntividhi bruve.

2. A person born during a transition (saṃkrānti) becomes subject to poverty and suffering. Through pacification, one obtains happiness. Therefore, I describe the pacification ritual (śāntividhi).
