पुत्रजन्मनि यत्कार्यं जातकर्मसमं नरैः ।
विवाहादौ च कर्तव्यं सर्वं सम्यक् क्रिमोदितम् ॥४॥

Whatever is to be performed by people at the birth of a son, similar to the Jātakarma (saṃskāra) ceremony, and all that is to be done at the time of marriage and other such occasions, should be performed thoroughly as prescribed by the traditional rules (krama).
