मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-30, verse-2

पञ्चयज्ञाश्रितं नित्यं यदेतत् कथितं तव ।
नैमित्तिकं तथैवान्यत् पुत्रजन्मक्रियादिकम् ॥२॥
2. pañcayajñāśritaṃ nityaṃ yadetat kathitaṃ tava .
naimittikaṃ tathaivānyat putrajanmakriyādikam.

naimittikam tathā eva anyat putrajammakriyādikam
2. That which has been described to you as the constant (nitya) duty, centered on the five great sacrifices (pañcayajña), is understood. And similarly, there are other occasional (naimittika) rites, such as those beginning with the ceremonies for the birth of a son.
