मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-30, verse-3

नित्यनैमित्तिकं ज्ञेयं पर्वश्राद्धादि पण्डितैः ।
तत्र नैमित्तिकं वक्ष्ये श्राद्धमभ्युदयं तव ॥३॥
3. nityanaimittikaṃ jñeyaṃ parvaśrāddhādi paṇḍitaiḥ .
tatra naimittikaṃ vakṣye śrāddhamabhyudayaṃ tava.

3. The constant (nitya) and occasional (naimittika) rites, such as the śrāddha ceremonies on specific auspicious days (parvan), should be understood by the wise. Among these, I shall now describe to you the occasional (naimittika) śrāddha ceremony known as Abhyudaya.
