महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-42, verse-17

सौभद्रेण हतैः पूर्वं सोत्तरायुधिभिर्द्विपैः ।
पाण्डूनां दर्शितः पन्थाः सैन्धवेन निवारितः ॥१७॥
17. saubhadreṇa hataiḥ pūrvaṁ sottarāyudhibhirdvipaiḥ ,
pāṇḍūnāṁ darśitaḥ panthāḥ saindhavena nivāritaḥ.

17. A path for the Pandavas, which had previously been opened by Abhimanyu (Saubhadra) by killing warriors along with Uttara and also elephants, was [then] obstructed by Jayadratha (Saindhava).
