महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-42, verse-1

संजय उवाच ।
यन्मा पृच्छसि राजेन्द्र सिन्धुराजस्य विक्रमम् ।
शृणु तत्सर्वमाख्यास्ये यथा पाण्डूनयोधयत् ॥१॥
1. saṁjaya uvāca ,
yanmā pṛcchasi rājendra sindhurājasya vikramam ,
śṛṇu tatsarvamākhyāsye yathā pāṇḍūnayodhayat.
1. saṃjayaḥ uvāca yat mā pṛcchasi rājendra sindhurājasya
vikramam śṛṇu tat sarvam ākhyāsye yathā pāṇḍūn ayodhayat
1. saṃjayaḥ uvāca: rājendra,
yat mā sindhurājasya vikramam pṛcchasi,
tat sarvam śṛṇu,
yathā pāṇḍūn ayodhayat (iti) ākhyāsye.
1. Saṃjaya said: O great king, listen to what you ask me concerning the valor of the King of Sindhu. I will narrate everything concerning how he fought the Pandavas.
