ततः प्रतर्दनोऽप्याह वाक्यं क्षत्रियपुंगवः ।
यथा धर्मरतिर्नित्यं नित्यं युद्धपरायणः ॥६॥

Then Pratardana, the foremost among kṣatriyas, also spoke these words: "Just as I am always devoted to natural law (dharma) and always dedicated to battle..."
