17. dauhitrāḥ svena dharmeṇa yajñadānakṛtena vai ,

mātāmahaṁ mahāprājñaṁ divamāropayanti te.

17.
Indeed, those grandsons who enhance their families and were born into four royal lineages cause their very wise maternal grandfather to ascend to heaven through their own intrinsic nature (dharma), which manifests in performing Vedic rituals (yajña) and giving charity (dāna).
