महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-26, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तत्काननं प्राप्य नरेन्द्रपुत्राः सुखोचिता वासमुपेत्य कृच्छ्रम् ।
विजह्रुरिन्द्रप्रतिमाः शिवेषु सरस्वतीशालवनेषु तेषु ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tatkānanaṁ prāpya narendraputrāḥ; sukhocitā vāsamupetya kṛcchram ,
vijahrurindrapratimāḥ śiveṣu; sarasvatīśālavaneṣu teṣu.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Having reached that forest, the king's sons, though accustomed to comfort, undertook a difficult stay. Resembling Indra, they passed their time in those auspicious śāla forests on the banks of the Sarasvati river.
