महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-248, verse-17

स कोटिकाश्यस्तच्छ्रुत्वा रथात्प्रस्कन्द्य कुण्डली ।
उपेत्य पप्रच्छ तदा क्रोष्टा व्याघ्रवधूमिव ॥१७॥

upetya papraccha tadā kroṣṭā vyāghravadhūmiva.

17. Then Kotikashya, wearing earrings, having heard that, jumped down from his chariot, approached her, and questioned her like a jackal questioning a tigress.
