महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-248, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तस्मिन्बहुमृगेऽरण्ये रममाणा महारथाः ।
काम्यके भरतश्रेष्ठा विजह्रुस्ते यथामराः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tasminbahumṛge'raṇye ramamāṇā mahārathāḥ ,
kāmyake bharataśreṣṭhā vijahruste yathāmarāḥ.
1. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca tasmin bahumṛge araṇye ramamāṇāḥ
mahārathāḥ kāmyake bharataśreṣṭhāḥ vijahruḥ te yathā amarāḥ
1. Vaiśampāyana said: In that Kāmyaka forest, which abounded in many deer, those great chariot-warriors, the best among the Bhāratas, enjoyed themselves as if they were immortals.
