महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-143, verse-18

ततः सागरगा आपः कीर्यमाणाः समन्ततः ।
प्रादुरासन्सकलुषाः फेनवत्यो विशां पते ॥१८॥
18. tataḥ sāgaragā āpaḥ kīryamāṇāḥ samantataḥ ,
prādurāsansakaluṣāḥ phenavatyo viśāṁ pate.

18. Then, O lord of the people (viśāṃ pate), the waters flowing towards the ocean, scattered in every direction, appeared turbid and foamy.
