महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-117, verse-5

अकृतव्रण उवाच ।
विलप्यैवं स करुणं बहु नानाविधं नृप ।
प्रेतकार्याणि सर्वाणि पितुश्चक्रे महातपाः ॥५॥

5. akṛtavraṇa uvāca ,
vilapyaivaṁ sa karuṇaṁ bahu nānāvidhaṁ nṛpa ,
pretakāryāṇi sarvāṇi pituścakre mahātapāḥ.

nṛpa pretakāryāṇi sarvāṇi pituḥ cakre mahātapaḥ

5. Akṛtavraṇa said: "Having lamented in this piteous and diverse manner, O King, that great ascetic (mahātapāḥ) performed all the funeral rites for his father."

5. אַקְרְטַוְרַנַה אמר, הו מלך, אחרי שקונן כך בצער רב ובדרכים רבות, ביצע בעל העוצמה הרוחנית הגדולה את כל טקסי ההלוויה לאביו.
