महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-117, verse-11

ततो यज्ञेन महता जामदग्न्यः प्रतापवान् ।
तर्पयामास देवेन्द्रमृत्विग्भ्यश्च महीं ददौ ॥११॥
11. tato yajñena mahatā jāmadagnyaḥ pratāpavān ,
tarpayāmāsa devendramṛtvigbhyaśca mahīṁ dadau.

11. Thereafter, the mighty Jamadagnya (Parashurama) satisfied the lord of gods (Indra) with a great Vedic ritual (yajña), and he also gave the earth to the priests.
