महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-108, verse-17

दुहितृत्वे च नृपतिर्गङ्गां समनुकल्पयत् ।
पितॄणां चोदकं तत्र ददौ पूर्णमनोरथः ॥१७॥
17. duhitṛtve ca nṛpatirgaṅgāṁ samanukalpayat ,
pitṝṇāṁ codakaṁ tatra dadau pūrṇamanorathaḥ.

17. And the king accepted Gaṅgā as his daughter. Then, with his desires fulfilled, he offered water libations to his ancestors.
