महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-55, verse-14

तदात्वकामः पाण्डूंस्त्वं मा द्रुहो भरतर्षभ ।
मोहात्मा तप्यसे पश्चात्पक्षिहा पुरुषो यथा ॥१४॥
14. tadātvakāmaḥ pāṇḍūṁstvaṁ mā druho bharatarṣabha ,
mohātmā tapyase paścātpakṣihā puruṣo yathā.
14. tadātvakāmaḥ pāṇḍūn tvam mā druhaḥ bharatarṣabha
mohātmā tapyase paścāt pakṣihā puruṣaḥ yathā
14. O best of Bharatas (bharatarṣabha), you, being desirous of immediate results (tadātvakāma), must not harm the Pāṇḍavas. Otherwise, with a deluded mind (mohātmā), you will suffer later, just like that man who killed the birds.
