महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-25, verse-6

कृतशौचं ततो वृद्धं श्वशुरं कुन्तिभोजजा ।
गान्धारीं च पृथा राजन्गङ्गातीरमुपानयत् ॥६॥
6. kṛtaśaucaṁ tato vṛddhaṁ śvaśuraṁ kuntibhojajā ,
gāndhārīṁ ca pṛthā rājangaṅgātīramupānayat.
6. kṛta-śaucam tataḥ vṛddham śvaśuram kunti-bhoja-jā
gāndhārīm ca pṛthā rājan gaṅgā-tīram upa-ānayat
6. rājan tataḥ kunti-bhoja-jā pṛthā kṛta-śaucam
vṛddham śvaśuram ca gāndhārīm gaṅgā-tīram upa-ānayat
6. O King, then Pṛthā, the daughter of Kuntibhoja, led her aged father-in-law, who had completed his purificatory rites, and Gāndhārī to the bank of the Gaṅgā.
