महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-69, verse-16

राजमार्गाश्च तत्रासन्सुमनोभिरलंकृताः ।
शुशुभे तत्पुरं चापि समुद्रौघनिभस्वनम् ॥१६॥
16. rājamārgāśca tatrāsansumanobhiralaṁkṛtāḥ ,
śuśubhe tatpuraṁ cāpi samudraughanibhasvanam.

śuśubhe tat puram ca api samudrāughanibhasvanam
16. The main thoroughfares there were adorned with flowers. That city also shone splendidly, its sound resembling the roar of the ocean waves.
