महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-23, verse-9

ब्राह्मण उवाच ।
प्राणः प्रलीयत ततः पुनश्च प्रचचार ह ।
समानश्चाप्युदानश्च वचोऽब्रूतां ततः शुभे ॥९॥
9. brāhmaṇa uvāca ,
prāṇaḥ pralīyata tataḥ punaśca pracacāra ha ,
samānaścāpyudānaśca vaco'brūtāṁ tataḥ śubhe.

9. The brahmin said: 'The vital breath (prāṇa) was absorbed, and then it became active again. Thereupon, O auspicious one, Samāna and Udāna also spoke these words.'
