त्यज शोकं महाराज भवितव्यं हि तत्तथा ।
न शक्यास्ते पुनर्द्रष्टुं त्वया ह्यस्मिन्रणे हताः ॥८॥

O great king, relinquish your sorrow! For what is destined (bhavitavya) must indeed come to pass. Those killed by you in this battle cannot be seen again.
