महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-98, verse-2

भीष्म उवाच ।
तथा प्रयाचमानस्य मुनिरग्निसमप्रभः ।
जमदग्निः शमं नैव जगाम कुरुनन्दन ॥२॥
2. bhīṣma uvāca ,
tathā prayācamānasya muniragnisamaprabhaḥ ,
jamadagniḥ śamaṁ naiva jagāma kurunandana.

2. Bhishma said: O delight of the Kurus (Kuru-nandana)! Even when (Bhāskara was) thus imploring, the sage Jamadagni, luminous like fire, certainly did not attain peace (śama).
