brāhmaṇāstapasā sarve sidhyante vāgbalāḥ sadā ,

Soma said: "All brahmins (brāhmaṇa) achieve perfection through austerity (tapas); they are always powerful through their speech. For kings indeed possess strength of arms, and the twice-born (dvijāti) have speech as their weapon."
