महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-33, verse-14

पितॄणां देवतानां च मनुष्योरगरक्षसाम् ।
पुरोहिता महाभागा ब्राह्मणा वै नराधिप ॥१४॥
14. pitṝṇāṁ devatānāṁ ca manuṣyoragarakṣasām ,
purohitā mahābhāgā brāhmaṇā vai narādhipa.
