अकर्ता चैव कर्ता च लभते यस्य यादृशम् ।
यद्येवोर्ध्वं यद्यवाक्च त्वं लोकमभियास्यसि ॥१३॥

13. akartā caiva kartā ca labhate yasya yādṛśam ,
yadyevordhvaṁ yadyavākca tvaṁ lokamabhiyāsyasi.

13. Both the non-doer and the doer receive their appropriate reward, whatever its nature. Whether it is upwards or downwards, you will certainly reach a world (commensurate with your actions).
