महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-41, verse-8

अनुगम्य च राजानं यथेष्टं गम्यतामिति ।
पौरजानपदान्सर्वान्विसृज्य कुरुनन्दनः ।
यौवराज्येन कौरव्यो भीमसेनमयोजयत् ॥८॥
8. anugamya ca rājānaṁ yatheṣṭaṁ gamyatāmiti ,
paurajānapadānsarvānvisṛjya kurunandanaḥ ,
yauvarājyena kauravyo bhīmasenamayojayat.

8. Having followed the king and dismissed all the city dwellers and rural folk, telling them, "You may go as you please," the Kuru prince (Yudhishthira) then appointed Bhimasena as the heir-apparent.
