महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-41, verse-3

अनुग्राह्या वयं नूनं भवतामिति मे मतिः ।
यत्रैवं गुणसंपन्नानस्मान्ब्रूथ विमत्सराः ॥३॥
3. anugrāhyā vayaṁ nūnaṁ bhavatāmiti me matiḥ ,
yatraivaṁ guṇasaṁpannānasmānbrūtha vimatsarāḥ.
3. anugrāhyāḥ vayam nūnam bhavatām iti me matiḥ
yatra evam guṇasampannān asmān brūtha vimatsarāḥ
3. vayam nūnam bhavatām anugrāhyāḥ iti me matiḥ
yatra vimatsarāḥ evam guṇasampannān asmān brūtha
3. "We are certainly worthy of your favor, this is my conviction (mati), given that you, free from envy, speak of us as being endowed with such virtues (guṇa)."
