महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-41, verse-4

धृतराष्ट्रो महाराजः पिता नो दैवतं परम् ।
शासनेऽस्य प्रिये चैव स्थेयं मत्प्रियकाङ्क्षिभिः ॥४॥
4. dhṛtarāṣṭro mahārājaḥ pitā no daivataṁ param ,
śāsane'sya priye caiva stheyaṁ matpriyakāṅkṣibhiḥ.
4. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ mahārājaḥ pitā naḥ daivatam param
śāsane asya priye ca eva stheyam matpriyakāṅkṣibhiḥ
4. matpriyakāṅkṣibhiḥ naḥ pitā mahārājaḥ dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ
param daivatam asya śāsane ca priye eva stheyam
4. King Dhritarashtra is our father and our supreme object of reverence (daivatam). Those who desire my well-being should remain firm in his command and in what is pleasing to him.
