महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-41, verse-5

एतदर्थं हि जीवामि कृत्वा ज्ञातिवधं महत् ।
अस्य शुश्रूषणं कार्यं मया नित्यमतन्द्रिणा ॥५॥
5. etadarthaṁ hi jīvāmi kṛtvā jñātivadhaṁ mahat ,
asya śuśrūṣaṇaṁ kāryaṁ mayā nityamatandriṇā.
5. etat artham hi jīvāmi kṛtvā jñātivadham mahat
asya śuśrūṣaṇam kāryam mayā nityam atandriṇā
5. hi mayā mahat jñātivadham kṛtvā etat artham
jīvāmi asya śuśrūṣaṇam nityam atandriṇā kāryam
5. Indeed, I live for this very purpose, having performed a great slaughter of my kinsmen. His service must always be performed by me without negligence.
