महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-339, verse-7

नागतिर्न गतिस्तस्य ज्ञेया भूतेन केनचित् ।
सांख्येन विधिना चैव योगेन च यथाक्रमम् ॥७॥

7. Neither his arrival (āgati) nor his departure (gati) is knowable by any creature (bhūta). He is, however, to be known through the path of (sāṅkhya) and also through (yoga), in their proper sequence.
