ततश्च वायुभक्षोऽभूत्संवत्सरमतन्द्रितः ।
पञ्चाग्निमध्ये च तपस्तेपे संवत्सरं नृपः ॥१५॥

15. Thereafter, without weariness, he subsisted on air for a year. The king also performed severe tapas, sitting amidst five fires, for another year.

15. אחר כך ניזון מאוויר במשך שנה, בלי להתעייף, ובמשך שנה נוספת תרגל המלך תרגול עוצמה רוחנית בין חמש אשים.
