महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-81, verse-2

उषित्वा च वने वासं ब्राह्मणैः सह संश्रितः ।
फलमूलाशनो दान्तो यथा स्वर्गमितो गतः ॥२॥
2. uṣitvā ca vane vāsaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha saṁśritaḥ ,
phalamūlāśano dānto yathā svargamito gataḥ.

phalamūlāśanaḥ dāntaḥ yathā svargam itaḥ gataḥ
2. And having dwelled in the forest with Brahmins, subsisting on fruits and roots, and being self-controlled, he departed from this world and attained heaven.
