पूर्णं वर्षसहस्रं स एवंवृत्तिरभून्नृपः ।
अब्भक्षः शरदस्त्रिंशदासीन्नियतवाङ्मनाः ॥१४॥

14. pūrṇaṁ varṣasahasraṁ sa evaṁvṛttirabhūnnṛpaḥ ,
abbhakṣaḥ śaradastriṁśadāsīnniyatavāṅmanāḥ.

14. pūrṇam varṣasahasram sa evamvṛttiḥ abhūt nṛpaḥ
abbhakṣaḥ śaradaḥ triṃśat āsīt niyatavāṅmanāḥ

14. The king maintained this conduct for a full thousand years. For thirty years, he subsisted on water, his speech and mind fully controlled.

14. במשך אלף שנה שלמה המשיך המלך בדרך חיים כזאת. במשך שלושים שנה ניזון ממים בלבד, ושמר על דיבורו ועל רוחו.
