महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-81, verse-7

देवराजसमो ह्यासीद्ययातिः पृथिवीपतिः ।
वर्धनः कुरुवंशस्य विभावसुसमद्युतिः ॥७॥
7. devarājasamo hyāsīdyayātiḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ ,
vardhanaḥ kuruvaṁśasya vibhāvasusamadyutiḥ.
7. devarājasamaḥ hi āsīt yayātiḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ
vardhanaḥ kuru-vaṃśasya vibhāvasusamadyutiḥ
7. Indeed, King Yayāti, the lord of the earth, was equal to the king of the gods, the enhancer of the Kuru dynasty, and possessed a radiance like that of Vibhāvasu (the sun or fire).
