महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-178, verse-18

तस्मिंस्तु संभ्रान्तजने समाजे निक्षिप्तवादेषु नराधिपेषु ।
कुन्तीसुतो जिष्णुरियेष कर्तुं सज्यं धनुस्तत्सशरं स वीरः ॥१८॥
18. tasmiṁstu saṁbhrāntajane samāje; nikṣiptavādeṣu narādhipeṣu ,
kuntīsuto jiṣṇuriyeṣa kartuṁ; sajyaṁ dhanustatsaśaraṁ sa vīraḥ.
18. tasmin tu saṃbhrāntajane samāje
nikṣiptavādeṣu narādhipeṣu
kuntīsutaḥ jiṣṇuḥ iyeṣa kartum sajyam
dhanuḥ tat saśaram saḥ vīraḥ
18. But while that assembly was in a state of confusion and the kings had abandoned their claims, that hero, Arjuna (Jiṣṇu), the son of Kunti, desired to string that bow along with its arrow.
