महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-173, verse-22

मुक्तशापश्च राजर्षिः कालेन महता ततः ।
ऋतुकालेऽभिपतितो मदयन्त्या निवारितः ॥२२॥
22. muktaśāpaśca rājarṣiḥ kālena mahatā tataḥ ,
ṛtukāle'bhipatito madayantyā nivāritaḥ.

22. And then, after a considerable time, the royal sage, freed from the curse, was prevented by Madayantī when he approached her during the fertile season.
