आशा हि लोहरज्जुभ्यो विषमा विपुला दृढा ।
कालेन क्षीयते लोहं तृष्णा तु परिवर्धते ॥ ६ ॥

6. Indeed, hope (āśā) is more formidable, vast, and firm than iron ropes. Iron wears away with time, but craving (tṛṣṇā) only increases.
