श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इति संप्रार्थितो राजा तदङ्गीकृत्य तद्वचः ।

9. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Thus implored, the king accepted their words and became the ruler of the earth, which is marked by the seven oceans.
