श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
इति गदितवति त्रिलोकनाथे क्षणमिव मौनमुपस्थिते पुरस्तात् ।
अथ मधुप इवाऽसिताब्जखण्डे वचनमुपैष्यति तत्र पाण्डुपुत्रः ॥ १४ ॥
इति गदितवति त्रिलोकनाथे क्षणमिव मौनमुपस्थिते पुरस्तात् ।

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: When the Lord of the Three Worlds had thus spoken, and silence had momentarily fallen before him, then the son of Pāṇḍu (Arjuna), like a bee to a dark lotus blossom, would begin to speak words there.
