चित्त चञ्चल संसार आत्मनो न सुखाय ते ।
शममेहि शमाच्छान्तं सुखं सारमवाप्यते ॥ ५ ॥

O fickle consciousness (citta)! The cycle of rebirth (saṃsāra) is not for the happiness of your true self (ātman). Attain tranquility; from tranquility, essential (sāra) and peaceful happiness is obtained.
