योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-69, verse-14

विषूचिकाभिधाना सा नाम्नाप्यन्यायबाधिका ।
तस्या मन्त्रः ।
ॐह्रींह्रांरींरां विष्णुशक्तये नमः ।
ॐनमो भगवति विष्णुशक्तिमेनां ॐहरहर नयनय पचपच मथमथ उत्सादय दूरेकुरु स्वाहा हिमवन्तं गच्छ जीव सः सः सः चन्द्रमण्डलगतोऽसि स्वाहा ।
इति मन्त्री महामन्त्रं न्यस्य वामकरोदरे ।
मार्जयेदातुराकारं तेन हस्तेन संयुतः ॥ १४ ॥
viṣūcikābhidhānā sā nāmnāpyanyāyabādhikā ,
tasyā mantraḥ ,
oṃhrīṃhrāṃrīṃrāṃ viṣṇuśaktaye namaḥ ,
oṃnamo bhagavati viṣṇuśaktimenāṃ oṃharahara nayanaya pacapaca mathamatha utsādaya dūrekuru svāhā himavantaṃ gaccha jīva saḥ saḥ saḥ candramaṇḍalagato'si svāhā ,
iti mantrī mahāmantraṃ nyasya vāmakarodare ,
mārjayedāturākāraṃ tena hastena saṃyutaḥ 14

matha utsāday dūre kuru svāhā himavantaṃ gaccha jīva saḥ saḥ saḥ candra-maṇḍala-gataḥ asi svāhā /
iti mantrī mahā-mantraṃ vāma-kara-udare nyasya tena hastena saṃyutaḥ ātura-ākāram mārjayet // 14 //
14. That (disease) named `viṣūcikā` (cholera) is obstructive even by its name. Its mantra (is as follows): Om Hrīṃ Hrāṃ Rīṃ Rāṃ, salutations to Viṣṇu's power (śakti)! Om salutations to the divine `Viṣṇuśakti`, this (disease)! Om, take away, take away! Lead away, lead away! Burn up, burn up! Destroy, destroy! Eradicate! Send far away, `svāhā`! Go to the Himalayas! Live, he, he, he! You are situated in the lunar sphere, `svāhā`! Thus, the practitioner (mantrī), having placed this great mantra (mahāmantra) on the palm of their left hand, should, together with that hand, rub the form of the patient.
