चिन्तयित्वा मया दृष्ट्वा तत्र तत्कथितं ततः ।
श्रृणु तत्ते प्रवक्ष्यामि राम शाम्बरिकेहितम् ॥ ४ ॥

Having reflected and observed it there, I then explained that (tat) to them. Listen, O Rāma, I will now relate to you that magician's deed (śāmbarikehita).
