योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-15, verse-10

अज्ञानघनयामिन्या संकोचं न नराम्बुजम् ।
यात्यसावुदितो यस्य नित्यं संतोषभास्करः ॥ १० ॥
ajñānaghanayāminyā saṃkocaṃ na narāmbujam ,
yātyasāvudito yasya nityaṃ saṃtoṣabhāskaraḥ 10
10. ajñānaghanayāminyā saṃkocam na narāmbujam yāti
asau uditaḥ yasya nityam saṃtoṣabhāskaraḥ
10. yasya asau saṃtoṣabhāskaraḥ nityam uditaḥ
narāmbujam ajñānaghanayāminyā na saṃkocam yāti
10. The lotus-like human (nara) does not shrink (or wither) in the dense night of ignorance (ajñāna), provided that for him, the sun of contentment (saṃtoṣa) has always risen.
