वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-51, verse-8

आर्यस्याज्ञां पुरस्कृत्य विसृज्य जनकात्मजाम् ।
गङ्गातीरे यथोद्दिष्टे वाल्मीकेराश्रमे शुभे ।
पुनरस्म्यागतो वीर पादमूलमुपासितुम् ॥८॥
8. āryasyājñāṃ puraskṛtya visṛjya janakātmajām ,
gaṅgātīre yathoddiṣṭe vālmīkerāśrame śubhe ,
punarasmyāgato vīra pādamūlamupāsitum.

8. O hero, having carried out the command of the noble one, having left Janaka's daughter (Sītā) on the bank of the Gaṅgā, in the auspicious hermitage (āśrama) of Vālmīki, as was instructed, I have returned to serve at your feet.
