वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-50, verse-20

तयोः संवदतोरेवं सूतलक्ष्मणयोः पथि ।
अस्तमर्को गतो वासं गोमत्यां तावथोषतुः ॥२०॥
20. tayoḥ saṃvadatorevaṃ sūtalakṣmaṇayoḥ pathi ,
astamarko gato vāsaṃ gomatyāṃ tāvathoṣatuḥ.

astam arkaḥ gataḥ vāsam gomatyām tau atha ūṣatuḥ

20. As the two, the charioteer (sūta) and Lakṣmaṇa, conversed on the path, the sun set, and they both stayed that night by the Gomati River.
