वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-57, verse-5

न तदग्निशिखा कुर्यात् संस्पृष्टा पाणिना सती ।
जनकस्यात्मजा कुर्यादुत्क्रोधकलुषीकृता ॥५॥
5. na tadagniśikhā kuryāt saṃspṛṣṭā pāṇinā satī ,
janakasyātmajā kuryādutkrodhakaluṣīkṛtā.
5. na tat agniśikhā kuryāt saṃspṛṣṭā pāṇinā satī
janakasyātmajā kuryāt utkrodhakaluṣīkṛtā
5. pāṇinā saṃspṛṣṭā satī agniśikhā tat na kuryāt

5. Even a flame, when touched by hand, would not do that (damage). But Janaka's daughter, when made impure by immense anger, could do it.
